June 2 Primary Election:
Candidates, Measures & Voting Resources
The June 2, 2026 Primary Election is an important opportunity for Contra Costa voters to help shape representation and policy at the federal, state, county, and local levels. To help members and residents prepare, CCAR has created a nonpartisan election guide with essential voting information, context on key contests and ballot measures, and links to official resources.
Whether voting by mail, returning a ballot in person, or heading to the polls on Election Day, this guide is designed to make it easier to understand what’s on the ballot and participate with confidence.

Meet the Candidates for the 2027 CCAR Board of Directors
The CCAR Board of Directors election is coming up, and members have several opportunities to meet the candidates before voting begins.
Join us at RMA in Danville on Thu, May 21, or CCRIM in Walnut Creek on Tue, May 26, from 8:00 to 9:30am to hear from the candidates and learn more about their vision for CCAR.
Voting-eligible members are also invited to the Meet the Candidates Forum on Wed, June 3, from 1:00 to 2:15pm on Zoom for another chance to ask questions and get informed.
Don’t miss these opportunities to get engaged and be ready to vote on June 15.

CA Law – Sexual Harassment Training Required Every 2 Years
Reminder: State law requires Designated Brokers to complete supervisory sexual harassment training and provide employees with access to training.
Additionally, salespeople, brokers, broker associates, and independent contractors are now personally liable for sexual harassment in professional relationships with clients—even if the relationship has ended.
Risk Management Tip:
The responsible broker and anyone supervising agents or employees—including those who hire, fire, reward, or discipline—should also complete supervisory training.
Women’s Council of REALTORS® May Events
The C.A.R. Leadership Academy helps California REALTORS® build the skills, confidence, and connections to lead in the real estate industry and beyond. Through mentorship, coaching, monthly training, and a group project, participants grow alongside emerging leaders committed to shaping the future of C.A.R. and the profession.
Applications for the Class of 2027 are due May 29, 2026.
