Estabilshed in 1921, the Contra Costa Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) is one of the Bay Area’s leading REALTOR® trade associations and part of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.). CCAR and the CCAR Multiple Listing Service (MLS) provide members with innovative products and resources to help them excel in their businesses and serve the community with integrity, professionalism and state-of-the-art real estate technology.
CCAR and CCAR MLS headquarters are centrally located in Contra Costa County with offices in Walnut Creek and Richmond. CCAR serves more than 3,800 members in 28 local cities and beyond.
The term REALTOR® is a federally registered collective membership mark which identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
C.A.R. develops and promotes programs and services to enhance members’ freedom and ability to conduct business successfully with integrity and competency. Through collective action, C.A.R. promotes home ownership and the preservation of real property rights.
