NAR ETHICS TRAINING REQUIREMENTS – All REALTORS® are required to complete 2.5 hours of ethics training every three years. | Current cycle: 2025-2027. Training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by NAR.

If you complete the necessary 45-hours of DRE-required continuing education for your license renewal, offered free HERE through C.A.R., between 1/1/2025 and 12/31/2027, you will automatically fulfill the current NAR triennial ethics training requirement. Failure to complete the required training is a violation of membership duty for which membership is suspended in January 2028 and subsequently terminated. Certified REALTOR® Emeritus members are exempt from the NAR Code of Ethics Training requirement.
