CCAR, C.A.R., & NAR Emeritus & Honorary Status
CCAR Honorary Status:
Local dues are waived if the following criteria are met.
• 70 years of age
• 40 years of CCAR Membership
CCAR Emeritus Status:
Local dues are waived for one member each year, granted by the Executive Committee based on a member’s contributions to the Association over time.
C.A.R. Honorary Member for Life (HML):
State dues are waived if the following criteria are met.
• 75 years of age
• 25 years of Membership to any Association of REALTORS® within the state.

NAR Emeritus Status:
National dues are waived if the following criteria are met.
• 40 cumulative years of Membership to any Association of REALTORS®
• Prior to 2019: One year of service* at the Local, State, or National level.
• After 2019: One year of service* at the National level.

*”Service” is defined as serving as an officer, director, committee member, federal political coordinator, president’s liaison or regional coordinator to a country with which NAR holds a reciprocal agreement.
