CCAR DUES
Association dues are billed for the period of January through December and typically due the first week of January.
Association dues contain CCAR dues (local), C.A.R. dues (state) and NAR dues (national).
MLS & KEY FEES
MLS and key fees are billed for the period of July through June and typically due the first week of July.
REFUNDS, REBATES & WAIVERS
Under certain conditions some CCAR members and MLS Participants and Subscribers may be eligible for refunds or partial rebates on annual dues and fees. Please see below for details.
DUES & FEES REFUND POLICY
Any deviations or exceptions from this policy require the approval of the CCAR Executive Committee.
FULL REFUND: A Full refund may be granted if payment is followed by a written refund request submitted prior to the first effective date of service.*
PARTIAL REFUND: A prorated refund may be granted if a written request is submitted within the first 30 days of service. The Member will be charged the equivalent of one month of each refundable service.*
- C.A.R. and NAR dues, application fees, late fees, and reinstatement fees are non-refundable.
- No refunds will be issued after 30 days of service.
*A $25 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds.
All CCAR, MLS and KEY application or set up fees are waived for active duty, reservists, or honorably discharged from military service within last 5 years.
CCAR and MLS application fees waived for an agent transferring AOR’s when both offices are with a CCAR Primary REALTOR® Broker. Does not include any KEY related fees. Agent must be an active REALTOR® at another AOR when they transfer to qualify for this discount.
CCAR and MLS application fees waived if transferring from Data Share Group: OBAR, Bay East, Delta, SF, BAREIS or MetroList. Does not include KEY related fees. Agent must be an active REALTOR® at another AOR when they transfer to qualify for this discount.
APPLICATION FEE REBATE
Agents who pay full application fees to join both CCAR and the CCAR MLS are eligible for a $200 rebate if they meet specified requirements within six months of their join date. To qualify, agents must attend a CCAR New Member Orientation session and MLS training, complete the NAR Code of Ethics training and orientation video, and demonstrate proficiency with ccartoday.com. Additional requirements may apply as determined by CCAR staff.
